Great option instead of 3K at a dealer

Hardware is much better than the crap they put in as stock - Works well - No issues - Just make sure you know what you are doing - Make sure everything is in place and maybe watch a Youtube on it before you go. If you do it right, this kit works awesome.

Perrfect Fit

Part worked perfect for fixing the sunroof on my 2014 F350 King Ranch. Of note, there is no way to physically remove the headliner or the sunroof track out of the vehicle without pysically removing seats in a newer model superduty. Saved over 2K doing it myself. Total time about 8 hours with a mojority of that removing trim pieces and trying to figure out how to get the headliner and track out of the vehicle. Finally repaired the track with it remaining inside.

Not so bad

The parts were as stated, the video (albeit slow to get through) worked well and explained what was necessary. Took me and a friend about 3 hours (didnt remove passenger seat or headliner from the vehicle). Glad I got this done, sunroof works perfectly fine for the first time in 2 years.

I went to the dealer to have my moonroof repaired... $3,100. Then I found this kit. I had to buy a couple tools I didn't have, so the parts and tools cost me about $200. It took some time and I tried to screw it up a couple ways. Took the moonroof out twice. Honestly the things I missed were just me trying to go too fast. They were simple things. I recommend when you get the sunroof out, refer to the video each step of the way. If you do that you can't go wrong. Bottom line... $200 and a few hours of work saved me $3,100. Outstanding!

Huge money saver

This is tough to put in until you figure it out, then it all makes sense and everything just falls into place. The instructions could definitely be a little better.. this whole job took me a little over 5 hours, although much of my time was spent dealing with taking the headliner out, that was a pain in the butt. Also, have some rubber gloves handy when touching the headliner, you don't want your dirty hands all over the headliner. As for calibration, I manually cranked the sunroof all the way to full open by hand, then took the motor back off (out of gear), plugged in the power and controller, ran the motor all the way forward to full open (while not attached to the actual unit), then bolted the motor back in place (this puts the motor and tracks at the same place in the cycle). It runs perfect and needed no actual recalibration. The instructions for calibration didn't make a lot of sense to me so I figured out my own way. This will save you over $1,000.00 compared to taking it to the dealer.. Going to give 4 stars based on poor instructions. But parts quality and value are definitely worth all 5 stars. If the instructions were clearer it would probably make the whole task a LOT simpler. Also having a service manual would really help.
